We are seeking talented interior design professionals who are passionate about the trade to join our growing team. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering exceptional interior spaces that meet the functional and aesthetic needs of our clients, working closely with clients, architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to determine their needs, preferences, and budget for the project
- Develop and present design proposal and quotations for clients
- Create detailed drawings, plans, and specifications for interior spaces, including layout, lighting, furniture, and finishes
- Select and specify materials, fixtures, and equipment for the project
- Manage the project from start to finish, including overseeing contractors and vendors, ensuring that the project stays on schedule and within budget, and resolving any issues that arise
- Communicate regularly with clients to keep them informed of the project's progress and to address any concerns they may have
- Ensure that the finished space meets all building codes and safety regulations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in interior design, and incorporate them into projects as appropriate
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in interior design, with a portfolio of completed projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software
- Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality work
